Acceleration Systems, a revolutionary new bandwidth optimization services company, today announced it has hired a seasoned channel strategist to the company’s executive team. Alan Fortier was appointed to Vice President of Channel Sales to drive the company’s channel program and significantly expand its partner-driven business.
In his new role at Acceleration Systems, Fortier will apply his extensive sales, technology, and leadership experience to head up Acceleration Systems’ strategy and execution with channel partners and reseller partners.

Based in Baton Rouge, Fortier draws on over 30 years in a variety of positions. Most recently, he was in channel development and management for a leading cloud-based security solutions company, where he excelled in developing channel programs and partnerships and driving sales growth and market development. Prior to that, Fortier was at Cisco as a Channel Business Development Manager handling cross functional responsibilities including legal, sales, and marketing.
