The Cleveland staff welcomed the newest intern Jamia Ray, to their office for the summer. Jamia will be an important addition to Acceleration Systems in her role as Intern, International Business.
Jamia is currently enrolled at Bowling Green State University working towards a dual bachelors degree in International Business and Management/Finance with a minor in French. She is actively involved with the Falcon Marching Band as a color guard member and hopes to become more involved within the group in the coming years.
In high school, Jamia was involved with several academic and social groups like National Honors Society, Pathfinders Committee, student council and held the position of class president. She was also active in the color guard and received the title of captain in her senior year. Jamia also took an interest in sports and tried many including volleyball, cheerleading, and track and field.
Although only a sophomore at the BGSU, Jamia has demonstrated her ability to handle real world work experiences with many internships over the past several years through FutureConnections. Her experience, dedication, and academic achievements landed her the opportunity to work in the Acceleration Systems headquarter office during the 2015 summer. During this internship, she will not only help the Acceleration Systems team develop and implement new processes and assist the fulfillment team, but she will continue her education of international business by assisting with research and tracking international prospects and clients.
Welcome aboard Jamia.
